Fifth Circle is a short panel show. This page sets out the terms you agree to by using this site, by writing in, or by commenting on our videos. The privacy policy covers what we collect and why; the mail policy covers what happens to a letter once it is in the bag.
The show is free
Watching the show and reading the record cost nothing. There is no account to create, no subscription, and nothing to buy. We do not sell anything here and we do not run advertising on this site.
What you agree to when you write in
If you send us a question — through the form, by mail to write@EnterTheFifthCircle.com, or as a comment on one of our videos — you are telling us we may use that question on air and publish it in the record.
- The question may be read, argued and published. That is the whole point of sending it.
- Your name is not used unless you ask for it. Names on air are opt-in only. Fake names are welcome.
- Send only what is yours to send. Do not send anyone else's private information, and do not send us material you do not have the right to share.
- You keep your own words. We are not claiming ownership of your letter; you are giving us permission to read it on air and publish it as part of the episode's record.
- You can withdraw. See the privacy policy. The published ruling and ticket number stay, because the record is the point of the show; your name and the body of your submission do not have to.
What we will not publish
We do not read on air anything that identifies a submitter as a minor. We do not publish private information about third parties. We decline questions that are abusive, or that exist only to attack a named person. Not every letter becomes an episode, and we are under no obligation to explain why one did not.
The show's own material
The episodes, the writing, the artwork, the voices and the characters are ours. You are welcome to quote, clip and link to the show in the ordinary way people discuss things they have watched. You may not republish whole episodes as your own, and you may not present the show's characters as real people or as endorsing anything.
The characters are not people
The four seats and Hal are written characters performed by language models, with voices generated by ElevenLabs. None of them is a real person, none of them is an expert, and nothing any of them says is advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise. Hal's ruling is the ending of a show, not a judgement with any standing anywhere. The model behind every seat is printed in the credits of every episode.
On YouTube
When you watch or comment on YouTube you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Those terms are between you and YouTube; ours are between you and us.
No warranty
This site and the show are provided as they are. We try to keep the record accurate and the site up, but we do not promise either, and we are not liable for what you do on the strength of something the committee said. It is a show about whether cereal is a soup.
Changes
If these terms change, the changed page appears here. We do not notify by mail, because we do not keep a mailing list.
